The heart behind our life groups is to provide a place to do life together and join with others that are dealing with the same issues as us. Our motto for what we do with life groups is to fellowship and grow in Christ. The idea is that each person is seen, heard, known, cared for, and senses a feeling of belonging to something greater than themselves. The main goal is to edify believers and nonbelievers by connecting them on a more intimate level and helping them to become more like Jesus.
Another goal is to evangelize by offering another venue, besides that of the regular Sunday church service, which may be initially less intimidating to seekers, newcomers, and those interested in finding out more about God as they are going through challenging times. We believe that no one should do life alone. The purpose of our life groups are to engage in life together through teaching, fellowship, prayer, miracles, radical generosity, and corporate worship. These groups bring people together to learn, celebrate, proclaim the good news, and support each other. We are Better Together – Ecclesiastes 4:12- “ a cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”
Our life groups meet via Zoom bi-weekly each month. The first groups of the month are a support group meeting, and the second group of each month is a study group using Christ-Centered material and the Bible. These life groups provide an opportunity for mutual sharing and support, practical love and service, greater devotion to God and others, prayer, spiritual growth, and real life examples of how God is working in our midst. We believe that God wants us to recover from all our life issues and become whole in him in every area of our lives. Recovery is where you obtain freedom. Recovery is defined as “the act or process of returning to a normal state after a difficult period of time.” It’s not just sobriety from drug or alcohol addictions, “If we’re honest with ourselves, we’re all addicted to something (food, social media, shopping, a person etc.) and we’re all recovering from something.” Every Life Group member is mailed a personal Bible and workbook as needed for their study group. Please consider giving a donation (click here to give) for this material. We believe the greatest gift that we can give someone is the Word of God.

This group exists to bring a community of women together to fellowship, mentor, and connect with one another in a safe and supportive environment. They can open up about sensitive and personal issues. They can engage with God here while uplifting and encouraging one another in their faith and knowledge of Jesus Christ. In this online group, women practice spiritual discipline, learn practical ways to relate to the Bible, encourage each other to understand the gospel, respond to the gospel, and apply the gospel to every aspect of life. That’s what happens when women engage with God through His Word and prayer.
This group exists to embrace and confront our mental, physical, and spiritual health. We will learn how to create a healthy balance, enhances the quality of our lives, and increase our feelings of inner peace and hope. Whether we are dealing with depression, anxiety, are overweight, or spiritually empty, We believe that God is the most knowledgeable to show us how to overcome and invest in ourselves by seeking Him through His Word, prayer, and Christ-centered materials and giving Him first place in our lives, transforming us one day at a time. We work towards complete wholeness and full recovery, treating our bodies as a temple of God. Every part of us is important to God. Mark 12:30-31 says we are to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength and we want to achieve that wholeheartedly through this group. We desire to become whole in our mind, body, and spirit. As a community of committed health and wellness group members, our spiritual, mental and physical health is of the utmost importance to us.
The effects of reentry stress often include loneliness even amongst friends and family, feeling out of place even though you're home, detaching from people and things you used to hold dear, confusion, frustration, and even anger. We exist to help individuals successfully reenter their communities following their incarcerations or rehabilitation as they walk out their faith and put their trust and dependence on God to provide for their needs. Our goal is to encourage them, support them and connect them with a local church as they transition back into their community. We desire to become their friends, mentors, accountability, and prayer partners. We believe no one is beyond redemption we don't want to give up on people even if they have been incarcerated or in rehab. Instead, we pursue and continue to encourage those God brings to us. Romans 3:23 -For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. We will share with them the gospel, give them a Bible, and emphasize the role of the Holy Spirit in the Christian life. We will come alongside them to help to identify and overcome their spiritual, relational, and social economic issues. Some of our group members have already been released for a while now and have not gone back. They share their testimonies of how God has helped them through their transitioning and speak of their own personal experiences, which builds trust and hope for those who are new members and just starting this group.

It is a journey of personal growth and self-discovery, where individuals must work towards overcoming issues in their life and developing a healthier way of life. However, Restoration is not a one-time event, but a continuous process that requires ongoing effort and support.
For many individuals, the first step towards freedom is acknowledging the need for change and seeking help. This may involve attending rehabilitation or seeking support from friends, family, or support groups. Once freedom is achieved, it is important to continue seeking support and working on personal growth. This may involve attending therapy, participating in self-help programs, or staying connected with a support network.
It is also important to develop new habits and routines that support freedom. This may involve engaging in healthy activities, such as exercise, healthy eating, and stress management. Establishing a support system, including friends, family, and peers who understand the challenges of restoration, can also provide ongoing encouragement and support.
It is essential to remember that recurrence is a common part of the restoration process, but it should not be viewed as failure. Rather, it is an opportunity to learn and grow, and to rededicate oneself to the Restoration process. Restoration is a journey, and it requires constant effort, commitment, and support.
Achieving freedom is just the beginning, and it requires ongoing effort and support to maintain it. It is important to seek help and connect with a support network, engage in healthy activities, and view setbacks as opportunities to learn and grow. With effort, support, and commitment, Restoration can lead to a fulfilling and successful life.
